Attention: Soft Skills Required
Has anyone ever asked you asked what you wanted to be when you grew up? What were your first thoughts? Did you think about the skills you would need or some of the “cool” jobs? Whether you are starting your first job or the jo b of your dreams, there are some skills that are necessary, regardless of your title. These types of skills are called social skills or skills in the workplace (Soft Skills). Someone told me that I could have all the smart books in the world, but if you don't have common sense, I would be nothing more than a stupid being than a box of stones. It takes a lot more than just “book skills” or academic and technical skills. It requires day-to-day skills that you may have learned from your past parents, teachers, family, friends or co-workers.
